its time was a fine piece of work.  Its burnt-out shell rises many
stories into the air. A mournful wind blows through the city.

continuing to the north. There is a huge pile of rubble in one lane of
the street, complete with shattered metal pieces and charred bones.

  You are stand in the middle of a huge intersection of two streets.  Large
holes in the concrete make it difficult to move about.  Two little green
signs at one corner indicate the past name of these streets.  Main and
Broadway are imprinted on the signs.  Broadway continues to the north and
south while Main continues to the east and west. A high, blasted out building
rises above you to the northeast.
