Sun Nov 23 (Sewer) :: Plurality
After reading the 2nd book in the HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy,
the chapter dealing with the ruler of the universe, the issue of
reality being different to everyone was quite clear. I don't think
Relativity completly covers the subject. Relativity still holds
that consistent events happen, they are just observed differently
by each observer under different situations. What I think Locker
was saying, (which I agree with, while even not taking drugs to see it
(imagine that :) )) is that there are no consistent events as we
or many of us like to think of them. If I see a book on a table, it
is there for me. If you look at the same table and do not see the book,
it is not there for you. There is no one view of the table that would
be right. Perhaps when I think I am singing to my dog, I am infact
conversing with her (in her point of view). I think the problem with
Classic physics and quantum physics not converging is largly due to
low quality rulers and conversion from metric to english.
