Total number of logs kept: 26 Total size of logs kept: 4769k How did I get in? It is extremely difficult to get into aa any way you look at it. The way I got in was to bring in mobs with me for the aliens to kill, distracting them from me*. My first method was to rent 20-60 horses and then rush in past the aliens, although this caused many complaints when 20-60 wranglers came rushing through town. My second method was to mindlink various mobs to follow me, which worked even better being that I chose mobs that had more hit points than a horse. Both of these methods cause the aliens to become extremely well fed however so you may not want to do this if you are planning on clearing the AA. *This is the same as Feldor's method but mobs are used instead of player characters. ============= MISC MOB INFO ============= Looking up, you notice for the first time the huge bulk of the alien queen. It is a huge, monstrous insectlike beast with a large tubular appendage which is busy laying eggs for MORE aliens! A slimey pod stirs. You stiffen with fear. A pod begins to move with a sickly wet sound. A pod slowly pulls open with a sickly tearing sound. With a shudder, you watch as a nasty alien with long appendages crawls out. A face hugger alien scurries into the shadows. Bishop prefers to be called an 'artificial person'. Bishop is in like-new condition. Bishop says 'I need to get this uplink fixed.' Hicks says 'take off and nuke the site from orbit.. it's the only way...' Hicks is a damn good soldier. Aliens: All aliens are hidden except for the alien queen. Nasty aliens grab corpses which they feed on. After they eat the corpse they grow and become more powerful. Face huggers are agressive in the sense that they jump onto your face. Once this happens you will become stunned and have several minutes left to live before an alien explodes from your stomach. Don't be fooled by the message saying you feel better, there is an alien egg in your stomach waiting to hatch. 713 - Apone and Vasquez sighted (rebooted since 722 sighting of hicks) 722 - Hicks sighted Ao telepaths to you 'if your good align marines assist..named marines also' Keys: black magnetic, red magnetic, blue scanner I'm not sure what the blue scanner does but my best guess is that it can be used to unlock the crates. The crates are pickable and I never needed to test this. ========= MAP NOTES ========= 1. You may have noticed that the rooms arround 948 are rather disorderly. The rooms did not fit when I pieced the map together with the captures I had made. From what I can make out it is roughly a 2x2 or 2x3 set of rooms. Due to the nature of TD3 I probably will not have the opportunity to reach this set of rooms again... 2. There is a second entrance to AA which is not shown in this map. The second entrance is located roughly west of the entrance used in this map. The second entrance requires a key to enter and I have been told that it leads to somewhere arround room 977 and is a ONE-WAY entrance. ==================================== FULL TEXT DESCTIPTIONS OF ALIEN AREA ==================================== 701 You stand inside a dark, damp corridor which runs north and east. To the south is a single small access door. You shiver in the cold air. The floor grating underneath is wet and slippery. 702 At this point, corridors branch off to the east, south, and west. Everything is wet and covered with gritty silt. Fearfully, you press onward into the darkness. 703 The dark, wet corridor runs east from here. To the north is a large steel door. Your footsteps echo hollowly in this enclosed space. A large signplate reads 'A-41'. 704 You stand in about an inch of water in this dark room. In one corner are some large pieces of equipment which are silent. To the north, south, and east are large doors. Shivering, you wonder what to do next. 705 The dark corridor runs north from here. To the east and south are large, solid-looking doors. The darkness seems to stir behind you. 706 The dark, wet corridor runs north and south. A large signplate reads 'A-47'. The floorplates clank under your feet... you notice some damage to the wall here. 707 You stand at an intersection of dark corridors which lead south, east, and west. It is very cold and clammy here. The metal floor grates are wet and slippery. 708 The dark, wet corridor runs east and west. Water drips onto the floor, causing a weird series of echoes. Fearfully, you press onward. 709 You carefully make your way along the dark, cold passagway. East and west you can see only blackness. 710 The dark passageway leads east and west. Your breath echoes hollowly inside this enclosed, cold space. 711 The darkened corridor leads eastward away from a large door. The floor grates underfoot are wet and slippery. There is rubbish strewn around here. 712 (brief was on) 713 The wet corridor reverberates with the sound of your footsteps as you travel along it. The air is cold and clammy. 714 The dark corridor runs east and west. After stumbling on some debris, you really begin to wish that the lights would work... and where is everyone anyway? 715 The corridor dead-ends to the east, where the ceiling seems to have collapsed. There is a large hole in one wall; looking in, you see only a black maze of pipes and hoses. 716 The corridor makes a right angle here, running north and west. A large control panel on wall is dark, and does nothing when you bang on it. An eerie gloom fills the area. There is a large steel door to the south. 717 The corridor runs east and west into darkness. The floor grates are wet and slippery underneath. 718 The floorplates clank and rattle under your feet as you try to sneak along the corridor which runs north and south. 719 The darkened corridor runs north and south. Water drips down from a gaping hole in the ceiling. A large signplate reads 'A-49'. Uneasily, you move onward. 720 At this point, corridors branch off to the east, west, and south. It is very cold and dark here. The floor grates are wet and slippery. 721 The corridor runs east and west into darkness. You can hear water dripping down onto the floor... drip drip drip. The overhead lights are not working. 722 At this point, the way east has been blocked by a large pile of rubble caused by an explosion of some type. The metal floor grates are ripped and shredded. Your only choice is to go back to the west. 723 The dark metal passageway runs east and west. There is rubbish strewn on the floor here... it looks like clothing. 724 To the west is a large door set into a thick bulkhead. The dark corridor leads east. Looking down through the floor grating, you see only blackness. A large signplate reads 'A-43'. 725 This room is empty; at least mostly empty, from what you can see in the darkness. 726 You move cautiously along a dark, cold corridor. Water drips down somewhere in the distance. You notice a series of mechanic's posters along wall, and stop to admire the pictures for a second. 801 The corridor runs west between heavy metal grating on all sides. To the east is a large steel door which has seen quite a bit of abuse. A large signplate reads 'A-15'. Looking down the corridor to the west, you can see nothing... or was that something moving down at the other end? 802 The corridor runs east and west. The heavy metal grating plates echo solidly as you walk across them. A computer access panel in the wall has been burnt out, and there are melted wires scattered on the floor. The corridor ends at a door not too far to the east. 803 At this point, a secondary access corridor runs south off the main hallway. Looking in all three directions, you see nothing to make you worry. Except for a large bloodstain on the wall here, of course. 804 Just north of here is a major east-west corridor. A door blocks your way south into what must be a large storage area. To the east and west are more doors, although from the looks of it, they have been welded shut with great strips of metal. The floor plates under your feet are smashed and dented. 805 You try to feel for the light switch as you enter this dark room, but the buttons you press do not seem to work. From the echoes of your footsteps, you are in some large chamber. Your foot knocks over an aluminum can, and you notice other debris on the floor as well. Then, something in a dark corner moves. 806 You pass along the corridor. You can hear water dripping somewhere below you. Some of the floor grates here look like they have been eaten away by something. 807 Your footsteps ring heavily on the metal grating as you tromp down the corridor, which runs east and west. Luckily, the majority of the overhead light panels are still working. 808 The corridor runs straight east and west between heavy grating plates which line the floors, walls, and ceiling. Here and there along the way are small computer consoles and equipment hatches. You can see that the corridor ends not too far to the west. 809 The corridor leads east for quite a ways. To the west, your way is blocked by a large solid door. There is a narrow opening leading north; you can see light through the other side. There is some rubbish on the floor. 810 The corridor runs to the west. Here there is a large door blocking your way east. You notice that the door has been badly battered and dented from this side... obviously it was smashed inward by something very large and strong. Looking through the uneven crack between the two halves of the barricade, you can see only darkness. There is a narrow, dark passageway leading south between two large pipes. You can see light through the other side. A large signplate reads 'A-18'. 811 The corridor leads west between heavy metal grating. To the east, a solid door blocks your path. You can hear water dripping somewhere. Your voice echoes in this strange, cold place. 812 Rows of smashed and toppled shelving make your progress into the room difficult. When you finally arrive inside, you notice that most of the movable objects in the room were once piled up just before the door. There are several large pipe-cutting machines and welding devices jumbled in a large heap. Broken glass is everywhere, as is a nasty chemical odor. Nothing moves here. 813 The corridor runs east and west between rows of equipment and digital readouts. Most are shut off, but a few appear to be working. You can see that the corridor just east of here. 814 It is rather dark here. To the west, a large section of the overhead lighting has burnt out. To the east, the corridor continues between rows and rows of valves and other equipment. The hollow deck clanks beneath your feet. 815 The corridor is dark here; this section of the overhead light must have malfunctioned. Looking up, you notice a gaping hole in the ceiling, and a mass of twisted wires and piping in the crawl space. Water drips down around you... drip... drip... drip... 816 To the east, the overhead lights have malfunctioned. Past the darkness you can see light again. Your voice seems to echo hollowly in this place. 817 The hollow metal corridor runs to the east between large banks of valves and equipment. Your way west is blocked by a large door. Your footsteps echo off the metal interior of this long, straight passageway. A large signplate reads 'A-17'. 818 The corridor runs south toward the intersection. Metal grates clank under your feet as you walk. Water still drips from the parallel groups of pipes overhead. To the east is a large door. 819 You stand at the western end of a long corridor which stretches to the east. Metal grating lines the walls, ceiling, and floor. An opening leads north toward another hallway. To the south is a broken door into what was once the Med Lab. A large signplate reads 'A-16'. A solid door to the west is labelled 'Stairwell S-1'. 820 This long, wide corridor runs west toward what must be a stairwell. Your way east is blocked by a single transparent door; the power mechanism doesn't seem to be working right, although the door looks to be intact. To the south here used to be a solid-looking door which has been beaten inward. A signplate reads 'Operations'. 821 This large laboratory / hospital has been wrecked beyond belief. Dozens of large transparent jars have been smashed in a large pile. At one end of the room, a heavy glass panel lies shattered inside the small bunkroom it once separated the main area from. There is an open doorway to the north. 822 Water drips down the stairs which descend down the stairwell. Looking above you, you see that most of the ceiling has disintegrated, and a blasted hole gives you a view of the grey sky above. There is a door to the east. A large signplate reads 'S-1'. 823 Some of the computers in this wrecked area are still functioning. You notice several heavy piles of boxes and other metal objects near each door; obviously they are meant to be used as barricades. At one end of the room, supplies and ammunition have been carefully laid out... in preparation for an assault, perhaps? Some empty casings lie on the ground. The skin of some dead animal lies here. A bottle of medicine is here. A camoflage shirt lies here. There are some camoflaged pants on the ground. Some combat boots sit here... something your mother might wear? A rain poncho lies here. A cheesy plastic belt lies in the dirt. The skin of some dead animal lies here. Some empty casings lie on the ground. A Marine guards the area. A Marine nervously scans the area. An autogun swivels to face you as it senses your movement. 824 This corridor leads east between metal grating. To the west is a transparent door which still stands in one piece. Your footsteps echo harshly in this strange, surreal environment. 825 The corridor runs west. To the east is a large metal door which stands half-open. There is a large, ugly hole in the ceiling from which sprawl what must be miles of optic cable and wiring. 826 The corridor runs east between solid metal grating. Your way west is blocked by a large door which stands half-open. Water drips from the ceiling, falling into the darkness under your feet. 827 A large signplate on the metal wall reads 'S-1'. Water drips down the steps which lead up. To the south is a large closed door. Your breathing echoes around this enclosed space. 828 To the east, a long, wide corridor leads off into the heart of the compound. Broken glass from a shattered light litters the floor. To the north is a large door leading into a stairwell. A large signplate reads 'A-9'. There is a hole here, and a dark shaft leading down. You can hear the faint echoes of dripping water. 829 The corridor ends a little ways to the west. East of here, it opens up and looks brighter. On the floor here are scattered debris and wreckage from lighting and other equipment. From a dark hole in the floor, you can hear the wheezing rattle of an air conditioning fan. 830 You slide through a dark opening... splash!! You are in a vast underground canal blocked at both ends by sealed bulkheads. The water is only up to your shoulders, but you can see by the marks on the walls that it was once much higher. A steady stream drips down in one corner. You notice a small plastic doll floating face-down on the dark surface of the water... 831 Starting to the east, the corridor widens out and you can see a series of doors along the south wall. There are two secondary corridors, blocked by large access doors, which lead north and south from here. Debris litters the floor. 832 The corridor ends at a sold wall to the west. To the south is a large, thick door which is partly open. The corridor runs east along a row of doors which must run off into quarters. A few of the overhead lights blink and buzz, but most are working. A large signplate reads 'A-12'. 833 You stand at the top of a wide set of currogated metal steps which lead down. The sounds of air conditioning machinery echo around the chamber. To the north, an access door leads to parts unknown. A large signplate reads 'S-4'. 834 The long corridor runs east and west. Along the south wall are a series of doors which lead into quarters and other areas. Light fills the room from the mostly opaque windows along the north side of the corridor. 835 The long, wide corridor runs east and west. Along the south wall are doors. Most are intact, but a few have been broken down, both inward and outward. Debris litters the floor. 836 You stand in an empty living area. Obviously, these quarters have not been moved into yet. A small air vent in one corner has fallen open, but looking down into it, all you see is darkness. The exit is to the north. 837 You tramp along the wide corridor. An overhead light blinks and hums as you pass it. To the south are doors leading into other areas. It is very quiet here. 838 Clothing and furniture has been hastily piled on the small dining table. You see no evidence of life in this one-family living space. The door leads north. 839 The door to these quarters has been knocked in. All the furniture has been moved to the north end of the area, near the door. Searching around, you find nothing but debris. There are some half-empty boxes of food under one of the beds. 840 The corridor runs east and west in silence. Along the south side are doors leading into what must be quarters, etc. 841 These living quarters are empty, and contain no signs of life other than a few cleaning supplies in one closet. A thin layer of dust covers the furniture, and you notice that the air conditioning system does not appear to be working. 842 You move cautiously along the corridor. Your footsteps echo off the grey metal walls. Along the south side can be seen doors. Many are smashed in or dented; some are not. 843 Papers and large, thick notebooks are strewn everywhere. In the mess you also manage to find an opened box of donuts with mold on them. One of the desk drawers lies upside down on the floor; several boxes of ammunition lie scattered near it. The door is to the north. 844 The corridor runs east and west. Although it was once a populated area with little kids running around and people smiling at eachother, it is now deserted. There are doors along the south wall. 845 A small audiodisk player still emits faint strains of easy listening music. Searching around, you find nothing amiss in these offices, except for some stray papers scattered on the floor. The door is to the north. 846 The wide corridor runs east and west. Along the north wall, milky opaque window blocks let in a grey light. Water drips down from a hole in the ceiling. 847 The door to this area is partially ajar, and the whole place is pretty well wrecked. In one corner, the ventilation grating has been torn or knocked off, and there is a black gaping hole in the floor underneath it. Debris lies everywhere. 848 You move along the wide corridor. Along the south side are doors, evenly spaced. Looking around, you sense nothing moving.. that you can tell anyway. 849 Nothing seems to be amiss about these living quarters. You spend a few minutes browsing through the large selection of lingerie in a bedroom door. Your heart pounds, and not because you're scared. 850 You stand in a long, wide corridor which runs east and west. You can see its end a ways to the east. To the south is a door. 851 This area shows signs of a struggle. Much of the furniture is broken, and quite a few of the ceiling tiles now lie on the floor. There are a few splatters of blood, too. 852 The corridor runs west as far as you can see. A line of doors marches down the south wall. Just east of here, your view is blocked by a wall or something. 853 The cooling unit in this room still functions. Looking around, you can see large bins and shelves holding an assortment of health care products and cleaning supplies. Most are packaged under the name of some company you've never heard of. A door leads north. 854 The wide corridor runs west as far as you can see. Along its south wall are evenly spaced doors; along the north are large opaque window blocks which let in a grey light. North and south of you are large access doors. To the east, the corridor is blocked by a large steel vacuum door. A signplate reads 'A-8'. 855 Fans whir busily in this room. Something shiny catches your eye, and you notice hundreds of data disks scattered around the floor in one corner. Then, something moves. 856 Just east of here, the corridor is blocked by a large, solid bulkhead. Along the north side, rows of doors are spread out along the length of the hallway. To the south, a dented access door stands. A large signplate reads 'A-11'. 857 You stand at the bottom of a wide set of corrugated metal steps. A large signplate reads 'S-4'. A heavy access door leads south. Water drips down from somewhere above you. An alien tooth lies here. An alien skull lies here. An alien claw lies here. Some empty casings lie on the ground. Later punk... 858 The long, wide corridor dead-ends not to far to the west. Along the northern wall are row of doors which are spaced apart. Between them are a few colorful pictures and bulletin boards. Along the south are banks of adjustable windows which are currently in their opaque mode. You press the controls, but they don't seem to work for some reason. 859 These small, compact quarters once housed a few people from the looks of things... it appears as though they left in a hurry. The exit lies to the south. 860 The long, wide corridor runs east and west. Along the northern wall are doors leading off into quarters. Many have nameplates or welcome mats outside them. 861 In the middle of the living area in these small quarters are a couple of polysynth suitcases, half full of what must be family heirlooms and treasures. The rest of the place looks as though it has been ransacked. 862 A family once lived here. Where they are now, who can say? You notice that the ceiling is hanging down in one corner of the area. Looking up into the crawl space, you can only see water dripping down at you. The door is to the south. 863 You walk along the wide corridor which runs east and west. There are doors along the northern wall. 864 These quarters have not been used in some time. They are basically empty. One of the ceiling panels has fallen down onto a bed in the sleeping area. Water drips onto an empty countertop. 865 The wide corridor stretches east and west for hundreds of paces. There are doors to the north; they lead off into quarters. It is strange how empty this place is. 866 This area has been wrecked. Personal belongings and clothing are strewn all over. Most of the ceiling has fallen down into the center of the room. There are boxes and chairs piled around one bed which looks like it was ripped apart with a chainsaw. 867 The long hallway runs straight east and west. Along the south wall are white opaque windows. To the north are doors leading into quarters. There is a large, dripping hole in the ceiling here. 868 The corridor runs west as far as you can see, and dead-ends not too far to the east. Along the north wall are doors leading into what must be colonists' quarters. To the south are rows of opaque windows which manage to let a grey, grim light fill the area. 869 There are still several uneaten donates and two cold coffee cups on the small kitchen counter. Looking around, you notice nothing strange about this living area; all the pictures on the wall are straight, and there is even a little aquarium with real fish in it. The door leads south. 870 The long corridor runs east and west. To the north are doors leading into quarters. There is a large hole punched into a wall panel here. Dripping water echoes down the corridor. 871 This living area is deserted. There are no signs of life. There are, however, a number of bullet holes in the far wall. Most of the furniture has been wrecked. The door is to the south. 872 The wide corridor runs straight east and west. To the north is a large door. Over it, a sign reads 'Secondary education'. Water drips down from somewhere above you, and the floor is slippery under your feet. 873 Wow... looks like a hurricane hit this place. Everything is strewn all over. All the furniture is piled in one corner, right under the crawl space access hatch which lies in pieces on the floor. You can leave to the south. 874 This was once the older kids' classroom. The desks here are larger, and the books that are strewn all over look like they have fewer pictures. An opening leads west into more classroom space. The exit is to the south. 875 The corridor runs east and west. To the north is a large door which is cracked open a bit. Tacked around it are child's drawings and scribbled poems. Most are soaked and stained by the water dripping down from overhead. 876 This was once the lower level school. From a large, waterstained photo on one wall, you can see that there were a couple dozen kids in this age range. Books and papers have been strewn everywhere. A large transparent window section looking out on the compound has been shattered inward. The door is to the south. An opening leads east into more classroom space. 877 The corridor runs east and west. To the north is a large door which has been painted several different bright colors. A large sign reads 'REC CENTER'. It must not be all fun and games in there, however; the door has been dented and smashed inward. 878 Along one side of this large area is a small bowling lane. There are a number of pool tables which have been pushed up against a storage closet in the back... how strange. Several computer arcade machines lie on their sides near the middle of the room. Two of them are still beeping and flashing lights at you. The door is to the south. 879 The family who lived here kept their place neat and tidy. Too bad they aren't around to greet you. But SOMETHING is, and it ain't too hospitable either!!! 901 You stand near the northeast corner of a large chamber filled with huge pieces of machinery. There is a large door to the east. Water drips down from the ceiling. 902 You pass between rows of enormous pieces of dead machinery. In the center of the chamber is a huge vertical pylon lined with pipes and tubes. There is about an inch of water on the solid concrete floor. It is very dark here. 903 You are near the eastern end of the huge chamber. Great pieces of machinery tower above you. The only sound to be heard is that of your footsteps... and of your pounding heart. 904 Tall, powerful looking machines tower over you, all silent. The wall to the south is bare and wet. It is very dark here. 905 You are in a large, solidly built chamber filled with huge pieces of complex machinery, now silent. The floor is wet, and the air is still and cold. 906 You pass among the huge, now-silent machines. Out in the center of the area is a massive pylon surrounded by huge pipes and hoses. Nothing moves here. The air is cold and clammy. 907 You stand in a large, cold space inhabited only by silent machinery. There is a large door in the south wall. 908 You stand near the northwestern corner of a large chamber filled with silent machinery. In the center is a huge metal pylon extending from floor to ceiling. A spaghetti-like maze of pipes and tubes runs all over the place. The first thing you notice is the silence. To the west is a large door. 909 The stairwell leads up the side of a large vertical shaft which drops down into darkness. On the other side you can see a large metal cage on a pulley. Other than the weak light beaming down from high above, there is no illumination here. There is a large door to the east, and to the west is a bulkhead labelled 'Water Storage 3'. A large signplate on the wall reads 'A-8'. 910 You step into a large room. What were once shelves and bins lie smashed and scattered on the floor. Horrified, you try to back out.... 911 You stand inside a large stairwell constructed of heavy steel grating. A large door surrounded by a metal bulkhead exits to the north. A large metal plate reads 'S-8'. 912 (see 830) 913 The mammoth space of the vehicle parking area lies to the northeast. You crouch near the corner, looking for signs of life. There is a large door to the south; access into a stairway of some type. 914 You are inside a large, grimy area where vehicles are cleaned off and checked. To the east, the chamber opens into a larger parking area. Overhead, great girders hold up the high ceiling. The floor is solid concrete, covered with grimy water. A door leads north into a stairwell. A large overhead sliding door blocks off the exit to the west; it appears to be operated by a small console which utilizes a card scanner. Nothing moves here. 915 You move along cautiously near the south wall of the garage area. Overhead, a network of metal beams forms weird shadows which are cast on the wet floor. There are several vehicles parked here; they look like they've been here for some time. 916 (see 857) 917 You are near the western edge of the large parking garage. Out in the center of the huge chamber are some vehicles. To the west is a vestible before the main exit. Up on one wall is a large calendar with full-length photos of well-built female bodies. Nothing stirs here. The air is cold and clammy. 918 You stand in the northwest corner of the large, open area. There is a small side office here with a single desk. On the wall are tacked notices about employee benefits, etc. The garage opens up to the southeast, where you can see several vehicles parked. The air is clammy and cold. 919 You are near the center of the large, cold chamber. The vehicles here look like they have not been used in a while. The floor is slippery with a mixture of water and lubricating oil. Anytime you say anything, your voice echoes back at you. The lights are malfunctioning here. 920 To the west is the corner of the garage. East of here can be seen an opening into a smaller maintenance area. Out in the middle of the room to the south are a few vehicles. There are no signs of life here. 921 922 You are near the southern wall of the expansive vehicle parking area. The floor underfoot is slippery with water and vehicle fluids. There is a small side chamber to the southeast where a number of large canisters and pallets are stacked. It is very quiet in here, except for the fans far overhead. 923 924 This alcove is bigger than it looks, but it is filled with large stacks of crates, pallets, and fuel tanks. North of here the space opens up into a large vehicle parking area. The floor underfoot is slippery and wet. A large cargo crate is here. crate (here) : a stim hypo some MRE's some MRE's some MRE's 925 Crates, pallets, and large barrels surround you. The alcove opens up into a parking area to the north. Water drips down from the ceiling. To the south is a large door. 926 You are near the eastern end of the storage alcove. There are a number of large pallets and crates stacked here. The chamber opens up to the north. Brrr.... you are sure cold! 927 Dark corridors run east and south. The power is definitely not working in this part of the complex. Water drips down all around you. You stumble over something on the floor, and notice that it is a shoe without an owner. There is a large door to the north. 928 You are near the southeastern corner of a huge chamber. Out in the center are several rows of parked vehicles. Rows of lights shine down from the ceiling far overhead, reflecting on the wet floor. To the southwest is a side chamber which looks like a storage area. A corridor leads east into darkness. 929 This darkened corridor runs east and west. You wonder why the lights are not working. To the west you can see light where it opens up; you can also see a side corridor running north from here. There is a large gaping hole in one wall; behind it you can see a number of large pipes and ducts. 930 You stand near the eastern end of the large chamber. The hard concrete floor is cold underfoot. You notice a pile of rags here, and discover that they are actually clothing. Where is everyone? You peer around, uncertainly. Your breathing echoes off the wall. 931 You stand near the northeast corner of the garage area. A wide opening leads east into more shops and storage rooms. Along the wall here are various maintenance tools, and some controls which move the overhead pulley mechanisms. Your footsteps echo in this large chamber. 932 You stand near the wall of the garage. A heavy steel door leads north into a maintenance storage facility. The floor is wet, and there are few signs of life here. The air is clammy and cold. 933 The wide corridor leads west into a large center where you can see parked vehicles. There are tire tracks on the heavy concrete floor beneath you. To the east, you can see more hallways leading to various shops and equipment rooms. Fans whir overhead. 934 You stand in a wide, cold corridor which leads north and south. There are openings at both ends, not too far from you. Your breath echoes in this large, empty space. 935 The corridor branches off here, leading east, west, and south. Large fans overhead direct cold air down onto you. The floor is wet and somewhat slippery. There are no signs of life. 936 The dark corridor runs west and makes a turn to the north, where you can see overhead lights that actually work. Water runs freely down the wall here. 937 The corridor leads east and west. It seems to open up to the east. The walls here are thick concrete, and clammy to the touch. Your breathing echos around in the emptiness. Where is everybody? 938 You stand in a wide, cold corridor which leads north and south. There is a large steel door to the east. Water drips down the walls. You shudder. 939 The corridor leads east and west. You are surrounded by solid concrete. The air is cold and clammy-feeling. 940 At this point, the main corridor runs west. To the east is a large sealed steel door; another door is in the south wall. Your footsteps echo off the concrete. 941 You are at an intersection of two darkened corridors which run east and south. To the north is a large door with several dents in it. Looking around, you can see wires and other debris strewn about here. Water drips endlessly from the darkness above. When you hold very still, you think you can hear something moving near you.... 942 The darkened corridor runs east and west between large pieces of now-silent machinery. They look like heating units of some kind. A couple have been badly damaged by something you are unsure of. Your breathing echoes heavily in the darkness. 943 The darkened corridor runs to the north. To the south is a large, solid access door. A large signplate reads 'A-51'. 944 The corridor runs east and west into darkness. Silent machinery stands on each side. Looking down through the floor grates you can see another level below you. The smell of burnt plastic permeates the air. 945 As you enter this large, dark room you notice that it seems to be filled with rubble. The sounds of dripping water echo through the chamber. Stepping forward, you feel a cold wet goo run down over your face. Then, something hisses at you. 946 In the darkness, you feel your way along the cold metal corridor which runs west and south. There was a door to the north, but it looks to be welded shut with great globs of silver metal. 947 948 Darkened corridors lead to the north and east. The floor grates here have been bent and mangled. Beneath them you can see a maze of pipes in the crawl space. Water drips down from overhead. There is a door to the south. 949 Large pieces of equipment fill the center of the room. Off to one side are some desks and chairs. Curiously, they appear to have been piled up against the wall as sort of blockade. Looking up, you notice a hole in the ceiling overhead. A door leads south. 950 You are in a large storage room filled with a number of wooden pallets. There is a pile of rags and old clothing in one corner. Doors lead north and east. There is a large hole in one wall; but it is far above your head. Your footsteps echo in this hollow space. 951 The corridor runs east and west. Other than the sound of the floor plates clanking under your feet, it is very quiet. Too quiet. Where is everyone? 952 You walk unsteadily down the corridor. Great pieces of machinery stand on both sides. The overhead lights are not working. You feel insecure. 953 The corridor runs east and west into darkness. Water drips down onto you. There is some heavy damage to the machinery here, and one of the floor grates is missing. As you step across you see a black hole dropping down far below you... 954 At this point, dark corridors run off to the west and south. To the north is a large door. A metal plate reds 'A-25'. Holding very still, you realize that you can hear only your own breathing. 955 The hollow metal corridor runs north and south through darkness. You feel uneasy as you pass on through the wet gloom. 956 You stand at an intersection between darkened corridors which lead north, east, and west. A pugnent smell fills the air. Dripping water can be heard in the distance. 957 You stumble along the darkened corridor. The floor grate is wet and slippery underfoot. The air is stagnant and smells of decaying food. The sound of your movement echoes around the chamber. 958 The darkened corridor runs east and west. It looks like something was dragged along the dirty floor grates here. A torn pair of pants lie crumpled in the corner. 959 You stand at an intersection between corridors which run north and west. To the east, the ceiling has collapsed, forming a barricade. You stumble on the sharp metal debris on the floor. Water drips from the ceiling above you. 960 Dark corridors branch off to the north, south, and east. You are somewhere deep within the complex, and you have no idea where. There is quite a bit of damage to the walls and floor here. Water drips noisily all around you, and steam erupts from several broken pipes. Looking closely at the metal walls, you notice that they seem to be coated with some kind of slimy excretion. 961 The dark corridor runs north and south. Although the power is out, you can hear noises off in the distance. Fearfully, you creep along the dark, cold passageway... 962 The dark corridor runs to the east. To the west, it is blocked by a large door which has been knocked outward from you. Water drips down from overhead. Looking down, you notice that many of the floor grates are missing. You are not alone here... 963 The dark corridor runs east and west. Steam blows out from a broken pipe in the wall. The floor plates are in shambles..... so are your nerves. 964 The corridor runs west into darkness, and south toward a large opening. You notice a particularly slimy substance secreted on the walls and floor here. 965 To the south, the corridor opens up into a wider area. Fearing for your safety, you back up against a wall and find it covered with a wet sticky goo. Steam erupts from a broken pipe in the ceiling. In the darkness, it seems like fantastic shapes arise from the opening before you. 966 You wander through the maze of darkened corridors. Openings lead to the north and west. There are heaps of rubbish strewn on the floor grates - clothing, tools, papers everywhere... there is a large door to the east. It has been broken inwards toward you, and if you open it just a bit you should be able to squeeze by. 967 The wide corridor runs east and west. On both sides of you are hatches into large bins. The smell of rotting vegetables assaults your nostrils... with no power, the refrigeration must not be working. 968 The dark, wet corridor runs east and west. The metal grates go *clomp* under your feet, and the noises echo all around you. 969 The overhead lights are not working in this corridor, which runs east and west between large storage bins. 970 The dark corridor runs to the east. Large storage bins form walls on either side. To the west is a large door. A metal plate reads 'A-38'. There is a large pile of spilled grain here, mostly rotten. 971 The corridor runs west into darkness. To the east, it opens up into a larger room. Large shapes can be seen in the dark; must be machinery of some type. Your heart beats quicker as you notice the amount of damage to the metal walls, and the great deposits of sticky, gooey junk. 972 Fearfully, you step into the wide chamber. The floor is sticky and gooey underfoot. Looking around, you notice a number of large egg-shaped objects stuck to the floor. Your eyes fall upon a large disgusting protuberance which moves with a sickening wet sound; then you see its owner. 973 The wide, solid concrete corridor runs east. To the west you are stopped by a large, sealed steel door. The air is cold here. A signplate reads 'A-4'. The overhead light seems to be burned out. 974 The corridor runs to the west. East of here is a large door blocking your path. The chamber is cold and empty. A large signplate reads 'A-4'. 975 You stand at the bottom of a cold, concrete stairwell. An access door leads west. Water drips down the steps from above you. A bold signplate reads 'S-2'. There are no signs of life here. 976 The stairwell is empty. A thin stream of water trickles down from the upper level, disappearing below you. A large signplate reads 'S-2'. Your footsteps echo hollowly in this enclosed space. To the west is a heavy, sealed steel door. 977 To the west is a large, heavy-looking steel door which has been dented in from both sides. Just north of you, the corridor has been blocked off by a jumbled pile of thick metal pallets. Looking closer, you see that the makeshift barricade has been welded together... A heavy metal signplate reads 'A-14'. 978 The corridor looks like it dead-ends not too far north of here. To the south, it leads into a darkened stairwell. You shudder, and grip your weapon more tightly. 979 In the dim light, you can make out a signplate reading 'S-2'. An access corridor leads north; the lights there appear to be working. The stairs lead down into darkness. 980 You crawl along a narrow, low tunnel which runs westward into darkness. Above you, the tunnel opens up and you can see the dim light of the outside. 981 The tunnel runs north into darkness. To the east, it makes a right angle, and you can see a dim light. 982 The tunnel runs north and south into darkness. Judging from the sound of the echoes, you are near at least one end of the passage. 983 You move along the narrow tunnel which leads north and south into darkness. 984 You crawl along the narrow tunnel which leads north and south. The echoes of your passage are distorted in the distance. 985 The long, straight tunnel leads north and south. Your muscles are cramping up, and there is no room to stand up here. 986 The long, narrow tunnel continues on before you. It seems like you have been crawling in here for hours. 987 The tunnel leads north and south. You sincerely hope that you don't meet any giant spiders here! 988 The long, straight tunnel leads north and south into horrible darkness. Your breath echoes noisily along its length. 989 The long, straight tunnel runs north and south. You grimace as you feel the soreness of your muscles. You have NO idea how much farther you will have to travel here. 990 You realize that, if you were a little fatter, you would be stuck in this tunnel right now. That thought does NOT appeal to you! 991 The cramped little tunnel runs north and south. You try to pace your movement as you crawl along. 992 The tunnel seems to run forever. Your muscles are cramping up. 993 The narrow, cramped tunnel runs north and south for what seems like miles. 994 The cramped tunnel runs north and south into darkness. Judging from the sound of the echoes, there is something blocking the tunnel just north of here. 995 You are inside a narrow, low tunnel which echoes loudly. To the north is a small metal access door blocking your way. You begin to feel a little uneasy with your situation here.
