Inside the Home of Akabar
This anteroom is set in the large entranceway's side. One would expect any
such room to be small, yet it is every bit as imposing as the building's main
entrance. Several rugs lie in the dust underfoot, their colours hard to make
out, but the patterns still recognizable. A large piece of fabric lies in the
room's center, long forgotten holy symbols now defiled by piles of bone. All
along the room's walls, tapestries drape the stone. Although they are covered
with cobwebs, they can still be seen depicting horrid skeletal dragons and it
is quite possible that they were hung there after death came over the city.
The dragons breathe clouds of gas onto warriors in holy symbols and golden
armour, who are obviously on the losing hand. A doorway leads further west.

Autexil the Guardian is here, guarding the door to his master.(Red Aura)

Autexil is a tall and tough-looking undead. In life he had the powers of a
warrior and a mage, and unlike most others who practice two arts he was skilled
in both. In his undeath, Autexil kept these powers and this makes him a good
guard for his master. He stands before the door and does not hesitate to show
his intention of letting none pass; stretching to his full height and glaring
a most menacing and unnerving threat to those who would defy him.

The Home of Akabar
A chamber as large as the anteroom to the east, this room is filled with
what must be thousands and thousands of ancient books and scrolls. The walls
are lined with tomes, stacked side to side on bookcases that reach all the way
up to the room's ceiling. The only exception to this is the west wall, where a
holy symbol of a skeleton dragon crested upon an indigo banner seems to almost
glow. The dragon appears so lifelike, that one expects it to leap off the cloth
at any moment. A large desk in the center of the room is covered with skulls
and candles, facing the banner as if to bask in its presence. The room has
a truly grim feeling to it, as if it were the source of the horrors throughout
the city. It weighs down on you heavily. The only way out, is back to the east.

Akabar the Strange stands here working over a few spells.(Red Aura)

Unlike most all inhabitants of Cave City, Akabar is not an undead. However,
he has stretched his life by magical means many times, lengthening his mortal
life far beyond what is normally possible. He is an old and wise sage, having
learned a lot during his many years of expanded life. Akabar is trained in the
fields of fighters, mages and clerics, mastering all in his unnaturally long
life span. His power is overwhelming to most others, and he knows it.

Lair of the Wraith
As one goes further into the lair, the grey makes room for darkness. This
part of the room seems to emanate it, shrouding everything in a blanket of
black. It is still as silent as a graveyard, and a very difficult to get a
bearing on one's orientation. The walls and objects in the room are fuzzy and
shimmer, as though it is impossible to focus on them. Once upon a time this
may have been a regular house in the town, but a most powerful entity of evil
has since made it its lair. To the north is the room's entrance, but the few
meters between it and this section seem like an incredible distance, and one
feels very weak and incapable of moving there. Instead, the darkness seems to
suck one to the south, where nothing can be seen but darkness.

A shadow wraith = Dranum

Dranum the Slayer was once a king in another time. He was known throughout
the realms as an evil tyrant, but one who rode into battle at the head of his
army like a true conqueror. He claimed the lives of many warriors, slaying them
with his dreaded blade which he was rumoured to have obtained through a pact
with a foul demon of the abyss. One day, his sword became thirsty for his own
blood and it imbedded itself into his heart, resulting in the death, and the
rebirth of his soul... this time as a horrible shadow wraith.

The Private Library of Ordack
A small study located to the east of the library's main room, it contains
several tomes in a single shelf against the north wall. These books have stood
the test of time, seeming unaffected by the decay that the others suffer.
Surely they are magical, containing spells that only the most powerful of
wizards can understand. Perhaps several of them even have a mind of their own,
as it is rumored that artifacts with an own will exist in long-lost ruins in
the realms. A square table stands in the room's center, a tome on its surface
that seems to have been read just recently...

Ordack the Necromancer is here meditating.(Red Aura)

Ordack had been here for many, many years, doing the pre-training of young
apprentices for the Tower's archmage. Having survived through many holders of
the tower, his end eventually came with the cataclysm that destroyed Cave City
and turned it into a bastion of the undead. The form that Ordack is now, sits
now sits in this dusty room, meditating. The dust and cobwebs cover his shape
as well, and he looks to not have moved in ages. To what god he prays now - if
any - is anyone's guess.

Quturac's Lair
It cannot be determined what kind of room this once was, for nothing that
could identify it remains. Whatever it was, it was small, for remnants of the
inner walls still remain. Like before, they have been broken and crushed as
though something huge passed through. The building's northern wall has been
demolished as well, and a lair of some kind can be seen through the darkness.
This seems to be the source of the incredible heat, causing involuntary sweat
to run down one's body. An ominous low rumbling can be heard, as though it
were an enormous creature's breath. One can head north towards the source of
the heat, or back west into the western section of the building.
Exits: - North - West

Quturac, the skeletal death dragon, looks very very ancient and very very
evil. It almost completely fills this chamber. There is no flesh left on its
body, and each of the dragon's large bones can be seen. To see a skeleton of
this size move about is most unnerving, especially that of a dracolich. Four
eyes blaze a deep black, drawing one's attention to the huge skull they are
set in. A powerful aura surrounds Quturac, for he is a dragon that has beaten
even death itself. It most certainly does not like your intrusion on his haven
of death, and your skin crawls as his deep eyes seem to tear you apart already.

The Room Continues
The room's northwestern section is a gathering section for larger objects
that must have been moved from the rest of the chamber. A desk, a wooden block
and a heavy bookcase are leaning against the bricks that still cover the walls.
They must have been too much of a hassle to shatter or remove, or perhaps the
new occupant has not gotten around to it yet. The hissing sound continues, but
while it seemed to originate from this part of the room when one stood at the
entrance east of here, it now seems to come from just that section. The room
continues to the south, and the feeling of dread here is surreal as the very
walls seem to be encroaching menacingly, and dark shadows flick at one's side.

Akulab the Overlord

A strange form of undead is here, appearing as the shadow of a living man.
A deep black seems to form its body, but there are no defined edges and at best
a constantly changing blur forms his outline. It resembles a blanket which
rapidly flaps about in the wind and it is hard to get a fix on its position.
Suddenly, a surprisingly calm voice seems to telepathically convey you Akulab's
response to your intrusion. It says, "I.. hate... being interrupted when.. I am
working!" The black shape seems to ripple even faster, as if outraged, and it
rushes toward you!

End of the Mine Tunnel
The east-west tunnel ends in this room. It looks as though the wall to the
west was still being excavated, but the cataclysm which overcame the city put
and end to all activity, including mining. Picks lie on the floor surrounded
by bone, the only remains of the miners. One of the axes is embedded in the
tunnel's end, a silent testimony to the activities that took place here. The
bones offer an even grimmer account - one of death. A large black door is in
the southern wall, its wood having withstood the toll of time.

decades of undeath weighs heavily on his shoulders, but an aura of strength
still surrounds him. Dred has retained his human form through vile and evil
magics, but his soul and being were corrupted into horribly cruel mockeries
of their former selves. Dred smiles an evil grin, and for a moment you seem
